It is robust, easy to handle and can be approached well from all sides.

"My very first after happened to be in an architect's office. There wo worked at drafting tables that could easyly be altered in height and inclination. Years later i went to business with a designer's studio. After days and weeks of work sitting nearly motionless in front of the computers sreen a severe pain in my back started.

Now there was the idea: "The heigt adjustment that worked so easyly in the architect's office, should work the same way with my computer." 1989 a 22" CRT-monitor weight about 40 kg plus scanner etc! `No problem,´ said Mr. Möckel `we build in a second gas-spring that lifts your CRT, scanner, printer, tablett and whatever else you have on your table´.

It was stunning - it really worked!. Ca.65 kg of equipment went up and down like nothing. Now working positions could quickly be altered. My back became my friend again. Quite some time later a physio-therapist explained to me why it happened. The crucial thing is the improvement of life quality. This is not evaluable in terms of money. Today in my studio we have 4 Moeckel sit-stand-tables plus 2 height adjustable light-desks and in the model workshop the very first "ergo S" is still doing his job - 22 years is no age."
